About Lycoming College

Lycoming College is a private, co-educational, liberal arts college located in Williamsport, which is a city in the US state of Pennsylvania, serving as the county seat of Lycoming County, with a population of more than 30 700 inhabitants, at the time of the 2000 census.

The college was established in 1812 and it is affiliated with the United Methodist Church, but operates as an independent institution. It offers its students over 700 courses in 34 majors, including both BA and BS degrees.

Athletics

Lycoming's athletic teams are known as the Warriors and they compete at the NCAA Division III level, in the Commonwealth Conference, for most sports, except football and lacrosse, for which they compete in the Middle Atlantic Conference, and wrestling, in which they compete in the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference.
